How it works

Operational flow — six beats

Before vs after is about paperwork load: fewer mystery totes, clearer photos, calmer Monday meetings.

Before

  • · Manifests rewritten the night trucks load.
  • · “On-hand” means three different things in one room.
  • · Field photos live in chat threads nobody searches.

After

  • · Named outlet tiers with pack rules attached.
  • · Stock view columns defined once and reused.
  • · Photo audits stored beside the wave they belong to.
  1. 1

    Intake & hazard scan

We read outlet lists, photos, and prior wave retros. Obvious hazards (mall curfews, bilingual headers) are flagged up front.

  2. 2

    Tier & geometry classing

Outlets are grouped with honest gaps. Fixture geometry is classed so pack sizes are not fantasy dimensions.

  3. 3

    Worksheet drafting

Shared Google/Miro boards or printable PDFs — your call. We keep version names boring so nobody gets lost.

  4. 4

    Pilot pack rehearsal

One hub runs a dry pick using draft manifests. Photos feed back into the allocation map before broad print.

  5. 5

    Wave launch support window

Short daily async standup notes — not 24/7 war rooms. We document decisions in the activity log.

  6. 6

    Archive & retro

Deliverables land in a dated folder pattern plus a retro template for the next wave — continuity is the product.
